Lymphoma is the most common hematopoietic tumor of horses, with the su bcutaneous form developing fairly often. Subcutaneous lymphoma in hors es is often T-cell rich B-cell lymphoma. In horses, subcutaneous lymph omas often have a waxing and waning nature that may be related to cycl ic changes in serum steroid hormone concentrations.
