Abstract
The electrical behaviour of aurintiicarboxylic acid and its complexes With some lanthanides, such as Pr3+; Nd3+, Gd3+, Er3+ and Yb3+, was st udied over the temperature range 294-435 K. The results show that the activation energy is lowered after complexing. Also, the conductivity increases from 2 x 10(-13) to 7 x 10(-12) ohm(-1) cm(-1). me conductio n ties place according to the hopping mechanism.
