Abstract
It is shown that Kelvin's description of foam elasticity is particular
ly appropriate for the shear modulus of the Kelvin structure which cor
responds to extension in the 110 direction, so that the resulting esti
mate (identical with that given by Stamenovic) is accurate to within a
few per cent.
