Abstract
Inherent chiral 1,2-bridged calix[4]arene diphosphates (3-8) were synt hesized from the achiral phosphorus containing 1,2,3-bridged calix[4]a rene derivatives 1 and 2 or from the corresponding chiral trichloride 6. The structures and the properties of stereomers (3-6) were examined by means of NMR investigations with chiral reagents, HPLC method usin g a chiral-packed column and X-ray crystallography. The separation of stereomers (calix[4]arene diphosphates 4 and 5), which have two stereo genic units, was performed.
