Abstract
The use of circulatory arrest with selective antegrade cerebral perfus ion is described in a 59-year-old man who underwent thrombendarterecto my for chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. The postoperativ e course was uneventful. The described surgical technique may prevent the patient from cerebral sequelae especially in more complex cases.
