Abstract
In the title hydrogen-bonded complex, C5H5NO . C6H5-NO3, the two compo nents are linked by an O-H ... O hydrogen bond between the phenol hydr oxyl group and the N-oxide O atom [O ... O 2.553 (2) Angstrom]. The in terplanar angle between the aromatic rings in the two components is 41 .29 (6)degrees.
