Abstract
The cyclic bisbibenzyl systems Marchantin 1 (3), Riccardin C (4) and I soplagiochin C (5) representing unique types bryophyte constituents we re prepared by a flexible, efficient and general synthetic approach in volving the construction of biphenyl and bibenzyl units using Suzuki a nd Wittig protocols.
