Abstract
Endometriosis is a complex and intriguing disease. If retrograde menst ruation normally occurs, then why do all women not develop endometrios is? The exact prevalence of endometriosis is unknown; however, a 20% t o 90% prevalency rate has been reported in women with pelvic pain and infertility. This article reviews the factors involved.
