Abstract
The authors demonstrate 1.5Gbit/s/channel error-free (bit error rate < 10(-13)) on-chip operation of unpackaged multiple-wavelength photonic integrated emitter arrays for short-haul (less than or equal to 300m) multimode fibre wavelength-division multiplexing applications. The ob served performance has been mainly limited by our simple coaxial probe and receiver bandwidth.
