Abstract
The authors demonstrate active modelocking at a 102 GHz repetition fre quency using a modelocked laser integrated with an electroabsorption m odulator. Pulse generation at 2.4 ps is performed by half frequency (5 1 GHz) modulation. A low timing jitter of 0.33 ps is measured using a mixing technique.
