Abstract
Published reports on ''metalated oxiranes as carbenoids'' are scarce. This subject has only been scantily addressed since the pioneering wor k of Crandall. In this account, we would like to review four novel rea ctions of carbenoids derived from epoxides. These reactions were devel oped in our laboratories.
