Abstract
The binding of two cholesterol moieties on each side of silicon phthal ocyanine is performed by reacting dihydroxysilicon phthalocyanine with chlorocholesteryloxydiphenylsilane, bis(triflate)silicon phthalocyani ne with cholesterol or dichlorosilicon phthalocyanine with cholesterol alcoholate.
