M. Trojanowicz et al., ORGANIC CONDUCTING POLYMERS AS ACTIVE MATERIALS IN ELECTROCHEMICAL CHEMO-SENSORS AND BIOSENSORS, Chemia Analityczna, 42(2), 1997, pp. 199-213
The electroanalytical applications of organic conducting polymers prod
uced by electropolymerisation are reviewed based on 101 references. Th
ey find applications for detection of numerous gaseous analytes, for d
esign of amperometric, voltammetric and potentiometric sensors operati
ng in solutions. There is also increasing number of their applications
in development of biosensors for immobilization of enzymes or antibod
ies, with simultaneous size-exclusion or ion-exchange discrimination o
f various interferences.
