Abstract
Inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission (ICP-AE) spectral fitting a nalysis was applied to the determination of rare-earth elements (REEs) in ion-adsorption type ores. An analytical window for each REE with s trong emission (1 nm) was simulated based on a linear combination of r eference spectra of REEs using our own developed software. The analyti cal results obtained were in good agreement with those obtained by a c oupled analytical method, i.e. isotachophoresis-particle induced X-ray emission (ITP-PIXE).
