Abstract
The structure and stereochemistry of mirasorvone, an 18-oxygenated pre gnane from the defensive prothoracic glands of the sunburst diving bee tle, Thermonectus marmoratus, has been confirmed by synthesis and sing le-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses.
