Abstract
Transesterification of N-acyloxazolidinones by treatment with an alcoh ol and lanthanum(III) iodide gives the corresponding esters in good to excellent yields under mild conditions with negligible racemization. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
