Abstract
While aldimines have been selectively oxidized to nitrones in TiO2 sus pended acetonitrile solution in the presence of O-2 upon irradiation, nitrones are reduced to their deoxygenated derivatives with retention of C=N by TiO2 photocatalysis under a nitrogen atmosphere.
