Abstract
This paper explores techniques for building adaptive and trainable dom ain-specific image annotation systems. Learning and relaxation-based t echniques are used to bind domain knowledge with data-driven sensing w here both utilise hierarchical lattice-type data structures. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
