Abstract
A new, effective, and stable modification of the Rojo method [1] for s olving of real symmetric circulant five-diagonal systems of linear equ ations is proposed. This special kind of system appears in many applic ations: spline approximation, difference solution of partial different ial equations, etc. The method presented in this paper a very efficien t and stable method.
