SPECTRAL INVESTIGATION OF A [60]FULLEROPYRROLIDINE

FT-IR transmission spectra of single crystals of a functionalized full erene, [60]fulleropyrrolidine, for various light polarizations and tem peratures as well as its electronic absorption spectra taken as KBr pe llets are presented and discussed. It is shown that, although the [60] fulleropyrrolidine is a novel compound with its own molecular symmetry and electronic structure, its spectra exhibit some similarities with the vibrational and electronic spectra of the pristine fullerene.
