Abstract
We present an algorithm, an extension of Lavaurs' algorithm for z(2) c, for determining the combinatorial arrangement of the hyperbolic co mponents of the generalized Mandelbrot set for z(n) + c. Several exter nal rays are plotted to support the algorithm.
