Abstract
N-Aryl-N'-trimethylsulfurdiimides (aryl = 2,6-F2C6H3, 2-FC6H4) react w ith TASF to give quantitatively the corresponding TAS salts with the A rNSN- anions (2a, 2b), isoelectronic with arylthionylimides 3; because of the short terminal SN bond the anions should be regarded as thiazy lamide rather than sulfurdiimide anions.
