Abstract
uv absorbance spectrophotometry is the routine method of determining n ucleotide concentrations in solution. To obviate the need for determin ing solution pH a method is described whereby cyclic CMP concentration in aqueous solution is calculated from absorbances at four wavelength s: the rationale is of general applicability to nucleosides and nucleo tides.
