Abstract
Follicular mucinosis is often associated with mycosis fungoides and ha s been rarely observed to occur with other neoplastic and inflammatory conditions. We describe a 60-year-old patient with follicular mucinos is who later developed acute myelogenous leukemia. This is the first r eported case of follicular mucinosis as a presenting sign of acute mye loblastic leukemia in the absence of mycosis fungoides or leukemia cut is.
