Abstract
Ferrocenylaldehyde nicotinoyl and isonicotinoyl hydrazones and their c oordination compounds with cobalt(II), nickel(II), zinc(II), cadmium(I I), copper(II) and manganese(II) have been synthesised. The compositio n, properties and bonding mode of the ligands with metal ions have bee n studied by means of elemental analyses, IR, H-1 NMR, UV-Vis spetrosc opy, thermal analysis and molar conductivity.
