Abstract
Linear selective reflection spectroscopy stabilizes the emission frequ ency of a diode laser. A 10 nW beam intensity is sufficient to lock th e nominal frequency on the 852 nm Ca line with 1 MHz accuracy. Applica tions may concern laser cooling as well as stabilization of 1.5 mu m l asers on atomic references. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
