Abstract
SANS from non-ionic micellar solutions of Triton X-100 over a wide ran ge of concentration and temperature are reported. It has been found th at the micelles are oblate ellipsoids with an axial ratio around two a nd that there are about 20 molecules of D2O per surfactant molecule in the hydrophilic region. The data have been analysed in terms of the S ticky Hard Sphere model and the effect of temperature on inter-micella r interactions has been investigated.
