Abstract
We have manufactured single crystal silicon solar cells as a power sou rce for satellites. Once in the first stage, we made conventional type cells, 2 cm square each, with a conversion efficiency of 10% under AM O irradiation. Now, NRS/BSF solar cells, each measures 4 cm by 7 cm, r eplace them with their improved efficiency of 17%.
