Abstract
The authors report a rare case of congenital fistula between the dista l aspect of the descending aorta and the inferior vena cava. The clini cal features of this aortocaval fistula is being described as well as the preoperative diagnostic workup, the intraoperative findings, and t he complicated postoperative course and treatment.
