Abstract
Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and IUE observations of the weak unidenti fied interstellar line 1369 Angstrom in nine early type stars are disc ussed. This absorption feature might be a diffuse interstellar band (D IB). We have found good correlation between the equivalent widths of t he 1369 Angstrom line and the interstellar CO A(1) Pi-X-1 Sigma (6-0) band at 1367.5 Angstrom and no correlation with the interstellar atomi c lines of NiII, NaI, HI. This indicates that carrier of this unidenti fied feature is associated with molecular clouds.
