Abstract
Lattice parameters and the generalized phonon density of states of K-1 -x(NH4)(x)SCN solid solutions are investigated. The boundary of the ph ase transition from the orthorhombic to monoclinic phase is found to b e near the concentration of x = 0.75. This transition is accompanied b y significant changes in the unit cell volume and torsional vibrations of ammonium.
