Abstract
The effect of extended homologous substitutions, temperature, and conc entration of inducer on the formation of inclusion bodies in the cours e of protein synthesis in bacteria was studied. Some hybrid hormones h ad higher in vivo solubility than the native human growth hormone. The role of functional epitopes in protein aggregation in heterologous ex pression systems is discussed.
