A. Piel et L. Protin, MODELING OF THE 3-PHASE POWER CONTROLLED IN DISCRETE MODE - APPLICATION IN INDUSTRIAL HEATING, EUROPEAN PHYSICAL JOURNAL-APPLIED PHYSICS, 2(1), 1998, pp. 41-56
This paper suggests a method to characterize the three-phase instantan
eous power wave for an industrial heating approach using several three
-phase converters. To obtain a global behaviour of this plant when the
control is assumed by the means of full wave trains using minimal per
iod (discrete control calling syncop mode), different three-phase pour
er modelling methods are submitted. From the computed converter contro
l signals; an associated rebuilding procedure of the three-phase insta
ntaneous power allows to simulate and characterize performances of the
se industrial-heating systems. Simulation results validated by experim
ental tests allow envisaging the global strategy development minimisin
g fluctuations of the instantaneous three-phase power.
