The behaviour of lattice parameter of ZrO2 + 12 mole % Y2O3 as a funct
ion of cobaltic oxide addition (0.1-0.5 mass To Co2O3) allows to assum
e the formation of two types of solid solutions, substitutional and in
terstitial and their mutual coexistence at w > 0.3 mass % Co2O3 The cr
ystallographic ordering of oxygen sublattice according to this structu
ral model results in the maximum of electrical conductivity observed a
t approximate to 0.1 mass % Co2O3 and the corresponding changes in the
Raman spectra and in the shape of infrared modes.
