Abstract
This article describes the case of a 71-year-old woman in whom a perma nent pacemaker implantation was performed through an iliac vein becaus e of superior vena cava obstruction after aortic valve reoperation. Du ring a 6-month follow-up, the patient did well and the pacemaker perfo rmance was satisfactory.
