Abstract
Glass Transition temperatures of a series of poly(carbonates) and poly (thiocarbonates) derived from Bisphenol A with chlorophenyl and dichlo rophenyl side groups have been determined by differential scanning cal orimetry at several scanning speeds. The effect of these bulky and pol ar substituents on the glass transition process has been analyzed in t he light of both temperature and activation energy evolution. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
