Abstract
Based on the Kadanoff-Baym equations of quantum transport: theory, an approach is proposed which goes beyond the usual quasiparticle approxi mation. It allows one to deduct the correct transport velocity for pro pagation in strongly scattering media, a quantity of great importance for localization phenomena. It is applied to the case of resonance sca ttering.
