Abstract
Long-fibre thermoplastics (LFT) have emerged as a new group of materia ls in addition to the well-established GMT: All aspects of GMT and LFT long-fibre-reinforced material systems as well as manufacturing and p rocessing technologies are considered, with emphasis on economic facto rs (costs), responsibilities, risks, flexibilities of the systems and material aspects (properties of the parts).
