Abstract
We developed a new aggregation model, namely the p model, which is der
ived from the Eden model. In accordance with the recent trend in urban
geography, we applied it to the problem of town growth. Examples of a
pplication to central towns (London and Paris) are presented, showing
that the p model can give a good description of the growth of these to
wns.
