ANALYZING METHODS FOR THERMAL-DESORPTION SPECTRA

Some methods used for analysing thermal desorption spectra are present ed. The methods can be applied to the first-order fate equation, but t hey are also applicable when analysing second-order spectra The classi cal Arrhenius method is discussed critically. Some new formulae for th e analysis are introduced. The methods utilize the peak area, peak sha pe or the half-width of the peak.
