Ni. Boyko et al., A HIGH-VOLTAGE PULSE-GENERATOR WITH MEAN POWER UP TO 50 KW FOR THE TREATMENT OF FOODSTUFFS, Instruments and experimental techniques, 41(2), 1998, pp. 257-263
A high-voltage pulse generator with amplitudes up to 120 kV, front dur
ation of 20 ns, repetition rate of 400 Hz, mean power released in a lo
ad up to 50 kW, and operational life up to 10(10)-10(11) pulses is bas
ed on low-inductance capacitive energy storages with a sheet-paper-oil
dielectric and air spark gap switches with an increased operational l
ife, and is powered with a 50-Hz single-phase voltage of 220 V. The ge
nerator is intended for high-voltage-pulse disinfection of various foo
dstuffs.
