Abstract
Ecdysteroids from Ajuga reptans plants, grown at the northern limit of the middle taiga subzone of the northeastern region of the European p art of Russia, have been identified. For the first time, ajugasteron B was isolated, along with other ecdysteroids characteristic of this sp ecies: polypodine B, 20-hydroxyecdysone, 29-norcyasterone, 29-norsengo sterone, sengosterone, and ajugalactone.
