Abstract
The influence of polar aprotic solvents: DMSO, AN and HMPA on the kine tics of proton transfer reactions from dimethyl(4-nitrophenyl)malonate (C-acid) to cis 1,2-bis-(diethylaminomethyl)cyclohexane (DEAMCH) was studied. On the basis of the kinetic parameters obtained, the multiste p mechanism of deprotonation processes and the influence of solvation on transition state were discussed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
