Abstract
This paper reports our recent research about poly(neutral red) film mo dified glass carbon electrodes and their electrocatalytic oxidation re actions for both dopamine and ascorbic acid. The catalytic currents ar e linearly related to both dopamine and ascorbic acid concentrations i n the ranges 5.0 x 10(-6)-2.0 x 10(-4) and 2.5 x 10(-5)-1.0 x 10(-1) m ol l(-1), respectively. Moreover, the dopamine and ascorbic acid conce ntrations can be determined simultaneously by using the difference of the catalytic currents. This method has been used for determining dopa mine and ascorbic acid concentrations in real samples with satisfactor y results. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
