Abstract
Experience under operating conditions of the YUMO instrument has shown that it possesses high spatial resolution, high luminosity and relati vely small background. This permits us to obtain scattering curves for macromolecules in solution, over a wide range of momentum transfer Q, from 0.008 to 0.25 Angstrom(-1), with good statistics for 6-8 h of ex perimental time, even without a cold moderator.
