Abstract
This paper investigates the unsteady flow and heat transfer characteri stics of rectangular sources with and without an inclined plate in a c hannel. The results show that the installation of an inclined plate ab ove an upstream source results in a periodically unsteady flow and it can effectively enhance the heat transfer performance. Moreover, the i nclined angle of the plate is changed under different Reynolds numbers to study the heat transfer performance in the channel.
