Abstract
An FTIR study of the effect of hydration as a function of relative hum idity on the structurally different xylooligosaccharide models is pres ented. The IR spectral pattern changes are strongly affected by the ty pe and position of the glycosidic linkages and reflects the hydration properties of the models. (C) 1998 SCI.
