Abstract
One hundred fifty-nine pediatric chief residents were surveyed regardi ng characteristics of the neonatal intensive care unit rotation for ho use staff at their institution. We documented substantial interinstitu tion variability in house staff NICU rotations in terms of number of r otations, and the workload and supervision of house staff.
