Abstract
We describe an 8-year-old boy who had asymptomatic hypercalcemia 4 yea rs after radiotherapy involving the left orbit and lungs. A right para thyroid adenoma was diagnosed, and normocalcemia was achieved after it s removal. Routine monitoring of serum calcium and phosphate levels is recommended for children after head and neck irradiation.
