Abstract
Reliability of large system can be evaluated fron the probability q of failure before restoration. In [8], the authors give an asymptotic ap proximation with monotone sequences for a k/n system. We propose, here , a bounding for q in a more general case, and apply in ageing propert y case. (C) Academie des Sciences/Elsevier, Paris.
